Badar Awareness Event
International Workers' Day - 9th May 2024
It is an international day to celebrate workers in appreciation of their efforts in development, on May 2 every year, on this occasion, the “Badar” initiative organizes entertainment and awareness events targeting companies operating in the northern regions of the State of Qatar. The celebration of the day comes within the general approach of Qatar to care for all workers who contribute to the process of development.
About the Event
An entertainment and awareness event at Barwa Sports Complex in the Industrial City of Al Khor, which includes a group of awareness and entertainment segments, competitions and challenges between companies and workers. More than 13 companies from the northern regions of the State of Qatar, and more than 1,200 workers of various nationalities and Asian languages, participate in this event.
Event Content
The main attraction of the event is an "Infotainment Safety and Security Awareness Quiz Competition" for two hours between the BEDAR member companies, where all the questions will be from the subjects trained during the BEDAR Ambassadors' training program and from the same slides dispatched to you by email.
The Labour Day celebration also will host 3 awareness sessions on occupational safety, mental health and health and hygiene by experts in the field. In addition to this, there will honoring ceremony for the best 3 BEDAR Companies and best 3 BEDAR Ambassadors on the main stage.
